Q the Trumpet's birthday!

It is Q the Trumpet's birthday, and our favourite jazz/hip-hop hybrid hipster will be throwing a party in Itaewon's Sector 118. DJing at the event will be Reload, Junju, and, of course, Q the Trumpet himself. There'll also be live performances from Yonko, OscarSmith, and, OF COURSE, Q the Trumpet. This promises to be a very fun night.

Inside Out Busking

Supersonic / Greatest Anthems of All Time

This Friday, the epicentre of Seoul's indie scene, Club F.F., will be hosting a double-hitter of an event. The first part will feature performances by four Korean indie bands, each bringing their own spin on the genre. Playing live will be Tilde, Ode, Calf, and Luamel. After the bands, DJ Eddie will be a set of tunes exploring Club F.F.'s history by going through their biggest dancefloor anthems.

Women Rock

This should be a real treat. Our good friends over at The Studio will be hosting a night celebrating the female-driven creativity on the local scene. There's a mammoth lineup featuring Billy Carter, DaddyORadio, 18 Fevers, Kontrajelly, House of Tease, and loads more. All the money from ticket sales will go to support single mothers in Seoul.

We've waxed lyrically about our love of Pop Ents ad nauseum at this point, but it's safe to say that any chance to see this 90s-twinged alt-rock band should be taken. This week, The Williams released their debut album, and it's a hard-hitting slice of post-rock revival revival that we can't recommend enough.
