Calling Busan live music lovers: Soum Festival is this weekend.
Sometimes, here at Platform, we can be a little too focused on Seoul's indie music scene. There are, however, plenty of great things happening around the rest of the country that often needs highlighting. Take, for example, Soum Festival - a two-day music extravaganza featuring some of Korea's top performers.
The event takes place this weekend (December 4-5) between Busan music venues Ovantegarde and The Vinyl Underground.
It's a big lineup that boasts 14 great artists. Some of the performers playing on the Saturday are Deadbuttons, Dan Pyunsun and one of our new favourites, Gorymurgy. On Sunday, you can see firm Platform faves Greenvilla, Drinking Boys and Girls Choir and the ever-amazing Kirara.
Tickets for the two days are 60,000 and are a bargain for the amount of live music you can see.
