Pentaport 2024 lineup features multiple international acts and some top-notch Korean rock

Korea's most iconic music festival, Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, announced its first lineup for 2024, and as always here, it is a mix of international touring names and local talent. Here, we share the lineup and pick out some highlights.
Incheon's Pentaport Rock Festival is an absolute cornerstone of Korea's indie music landscape. Between the speculation over who is playing and the discussion it creates afterwards, it's always one of the most talked about events in the scene.
This year is no different with indie kids around the country trying to guess who was going to play this year's event.
Well, wait no more.
Today, Pentaport announced their first lineup, which is one of the most jam-packed in recent years.
International headliners for the event will be Jack White, Turnstile, Girl in Red, and Ride. They will be joined by Se So Neon, Silica Gel, and Jannabi as the topped-billed performers.
Other international names for this year's event include toe, Creepy Nuts, and Indigo la End.
The rest of the lineup is a mix of some of our favourite names from Korean indie.
Featured on the lineup is the much-lauded post-rock and shoegaze artist Parannoul. Between supporting Slowdive earlier this year and now playing Pentaport, could we finally be seeing more of a live presence from Parannoul?
Speaking of shoegaze, they will be joined by the incredible Seaweed Mustache. The Busan band have become synonymous with noise-driven fuzzy fun.
Indie veteran’s Goonam will be bringing their soulful rock sound to Pentaport with a MUST-SEE performance for 2024.
Platform Magazine's fave babes Jisokuryclub will be making the Pentaport debut. Their chill, summery sound was almost made for the Pentaport stage!
Korea's riotous new punk band, Sailor Honeymoon, will be playing at the festival too.
