Don’t Panic
Kicking off a quality night of live music is the recently reopened live music venue, Bender with three top local indie-rock bands.
The Sound are a lovingly faithful tribute to the guitar bands of the 2000s. Think one part The Cribs, one part We Are Scientists and a healthy side portion of Jimmy Eat World, and you've got The Sound.
Sons of Tiger are a loud and raucous, indie-blues band. They recently turned everything up a notch by adding an extra member.
Headlining on the night will be Riot Kidz; equally loud but with more of punk style.
If you love live guitar music, this is not to be missed.

And rounding off a night of live performances is a bit less of an obvious one.
Bar Tican is well known for hosting some of the best in local jazz artists, but this Saturday, they're opening their small stage for something a little different; a tap dancer.
This is a rare chance to see a vintage performance style in a lounge setting.

Casa Corona Sunday
This Monday is a weird quasi-holiday for many of us where we don't have to work. That means that Sunday is a good time to get on it.
You probably don't need us to tell you that Casa Corona is one of the best places to catch local DJs. This Sunday, they have an especially top lineup of funky house selectors with Roxy, Mewzoo, Hunter, Blumin and DJ Better.
