An absolutely jam-packed week of fun stuff to do is upon us with absolutely loads of live music and art.
It is a weekend heavy list this week with the weekdays being a little barren. So just save up all your good moods for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Friday 8th October
Wild Card at Prism.
This Friday, Prism will play host to an absolutely stellar lineup of emergent, local talent.
Headling the event will be the awesome Seoul Magic Club. The band blew us away earlier this year with their debut album Hope.
They will be backed by another firm, Platform Magazine favourite, indie band Moskva Surfing Club.
Completing the lineup will be Andor, who have been generating a lot of buzz.These are three great bands that you won't want to miss.

Nada VA
There's another great lineup of bands just round the corner from Rolling Hall.
Local Grunge band Goosedown will be opening up with indie-pop bands Calf and Luamel closing out proceedings.

Art Rock Festival
The annual Art Rock Festival will be returning for its third instalment, and it's bigger than ever before.
There will be 102 artists and over 500 unique works on display at this impressive, ambitious art market.
The show intends to challenge mainstream art and create diversity in styles. They also want to help develop young Korean artists.

Gritty Kitty
Our good friend and impressive jazz singer Gritty Kitty will be playing a series of live performances around Seoul starting this Friday.
She opens the series with a night at MU Art in Itaewon. If you want a nice chill one, this is for you.

Pentaport Rock Festival
Incheon's legendary rock festival returns this year with a stellar lineup of local and international acts.
Headlining the event will be Phum, The Linda Lindas and Scottish post-rock icons Mogwai.
Circumstances being what they are, the event will, unfortunately, be online only. The organisers have made some genuine innovations in the broadcast this year, though, and the event still promises to be great.

Autumn Dream
Continuing with a weekend of excellent live music, our good buddies over at Bender are putting on a show with some of our favourite local bands.
Headlining the show will be eccentric indie-rock band Sick Jeff. They'll be joined by Hwanho and Band730.

When they're not selling the best in funky vinyl, Welcome Records like to put on some pretty cool art exhibitions.

Seaspiracy screening
Vegan and Beyond Bakery will do their first documentary screening this week, and they'll be launching with significant animal rights and environmentalist documentary Seaspiracy.
Seaspiracy examines various human impacts on marine life and advocates for ending fish consumption.
The event is free to attend, but the venue asks that you purchase a drink or a snack. And Vegan and Beyond have some really delicious vegan stuff.

Cadejo at Pet Sounds
Here's a real treat. One of our favourite Korean bands, Cadejo will be playing a free gig at Platform's spiritual home and launch night host, Pet Sounds.
Cadjeo combine an eclectic range of sounds and styles to their unique sound. Their infectious musical blend includes bits of funk, disco, psychedelia, jazz, reggae, and rock.
The band were recently nominated as Best Asian Artist at the GIMA awards so getting the chance to see them for free is a chance you should take.

Monday 11th October
Jazz at Boogie Woogie
Our friends over at Boogie Woogie almost never take a night off from putting on some of Seoul's biggest and best jazz bands.
This Monday, smooth jazz combo, Bluebird will be performing there, followed by modern jazz band 강제훈 Quartet.
Boogies is a great place to get some delicious food, tasty cocktails and listen to some toe-tapping live music.
